Saiyaara matlab taaron mein ek tanha taara ...
khud jalke joh roshan karde jag yeh saara
Movie Name: Saiyaara
Director: Mohit Suri
Produced By: Akshaye Widhani
Release Date: 18 July 2025
Running time: 156 Minutes
Is this the movie all Bollywood romantics waited for? Well, it can be said that it is good news that Mohit Suri hasn’t lost touch with the movies that can melt your heart to its very core. From the music and the plot to the actors and the screenplay, everything about this movie screams love is in the air.
As soon as the movie begins, we are almost taken aback to the magical days of movies like Aashiqui 2 and Rockstar. While, Saiyaara may be majorly different from all these previous Bollywood romances, it still, however, is a perfect reminder for why we fell in love with Bollywood at first.
Saiyaara both as a title and metaphor is about that lonely star who though alone in this world lightens up the world for everyone around him. The movie is everything about love, from a slow and steady coming together of two individuals, to separation and the ultimate reunion. The dialogues of the movie are often poetic and go well along the overall soundtrack of the film.

I love you….forever….ever and ever
However every work comes with its drawbacks and this film is no exception. The first half feels a little extended, with some audiences even advising to come after the interval. We are often brought into the lives of the characters and taken almost immediately away, the movie could’ve also been a little bit more about Krish Kapoor’s childhood, his life or even his relationship with his parents.
Nevertheless, it would be just to say that the performances of the actors anchor the film and deliver a love story that is not going to leave your heart anytime soon. It is everything that you’d like for a love story to be. It is heartwarming, bold, honest, raw and represents a more real side to conflicts in human relationships.
Final Verdict: The movie is definitely a one-time watch, go for it if you are a fan of love stories with good songs and few tears.
