Title: Fall For Me
Release Date: 21 August 2025
Running Time: 105 Minutes
Country: Germany
The film is an absolute visual escape. From the first scene to the last- you’re taken across the most instagrammable sights across the country, and if you’re a fan of good visual cinema- the film will definitely be a sight for sore eyes!
The film covers two sisters with very different motivations. The sisters are thrown into a world of romantic betrayal, lies and dark twists. What remains the same for both of them is how they both fall in love that does not lead to fulfillment but only makes them feel more lost, helpless and vulnerable.
The character development is thin and almost comes after a long wait. Lilli is reluctant to let go of something that makes her feel connected to her mother. While, the other sister is too much in love with a guy for her own good. Eventually, it comes as a relief for the viewers when we see their reunion.
The scene though set amidst the most wonderful backdrops somehow seem fragmented. The film could be so much more because honestly, if you’ve already watched this one you’d agree that the plot definitely had some potential.

So, let's ask the question now- should you stream it or skip it?
The answer to this one is simple- stream it, if you’re into slow-burn films and skip it if you’re expecting too much from the plot and the characters. The actors are definitely phenomenal in their roles, but there feels something missing and we can't seem to shake that feeling off.
Go for the movie if you like to stream netflix for the visual styles- the beach scenes, the sunny skies and some definite passionate + danger romances.
Irrespective of everything being said, the movie is a hit on Netflix, and definitely a one-time watch.
My Rating: 2.5 on 5
